The Complete Story
TastingRoomers.com is an online mapping and video website that promotes wine tasting rooms throughout the Wine Country in Northern California including the Napa County and Sonoma County regions. It is a informational and entertaining website that is beneficial to both the wine lover or tourist and within the wine industry itself. TastingRoomers.com has a special wine mapping and tasting room video feature. The wine mapping feature uses Google Maps and allows the viewer to pinpoint an exact location for each winery or tasting room. Through this feature the viewer can map their route up Hwy 101 or I-80 and throughout Napa Valley & Sonoma Valley regions traveling on hwy 29, hwy 128 or hwy 12, making for easy trip planning and efficient use of time.

The mapping feature also allows the viewer to locate the wineries and tasting rooms by appellations. Within Sonoma County there are twelve such appellations including: Alexander Valley, Bennett Valley, Carneros, Chalk Hill, Dry Creek Valley, Green Valley, Knights Valley, Rockpile, Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast, Sonoma Mountain and Sonoma Valley. In Napa County there is one main appellation - Napa Valley Appellation, and fourteen sub-appellations including , Atlas Peak, Chiles Valley District, Diamond Mountain District, Howell Mountain, Los Carneros, Mt. Veeder, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, Spring Mountain District, Stags Leap District, Yountville, Wild Horse Valley, Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley and soon to be granted appellation status, Calistoga.

Each of these regions possess distinct microclimates and terrains, imprinting recognizable characteristics on the grapes grown within them. The varietals grown within these regions include but are not limited to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Syrah / Shiraz, Sangiovese, Barbera, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Semillion, just to name a few.

The Video feature of the website allows the viewer to get an inside look at each of the wineries tasting rooms and at tasting rooms not affiliated with any one winery but rather, those that host a variety of smaller winemakers' wines. These wine videos and tasting room videos will aid in trip planning to the wine country region and also will help the consumer or traveler become more familiar with each of the special features within each winery.

Many wineries hosts Special Events throughout the year and also have Event space available for your special occasion. The TastingRoomers.com website links directly to each of the wineries websites allowing for a more in depth study on individual wineries and will also allow the viewer to purchase wines from the wineries directly and join the wine clubs with many member benefits.

Other features of the website will be local advertisers where travelers can find resources for lodging in nearby hotels and B&B's, restaurnats in Sonoma and Napa counties, transportation companies throughout Sonoma, Healdsburg, Napa, St. Helena, Cloverdale, Santa Rosa, along the Russian River Wine Road and along the Sonoma Coast.
