Harvest Moon Estate & Winery is located in the Russian River Valley on Olivet Rd in Santa Rosa.

The Pitts family has lived and grown grapes in this area for over 35 years. In 2000, Randy Pitts, the son and winegrower, decided to turn the grapes they had been farming for all those years into world class Russian River Valley wine. And, who would know the grape potential better than one who grew up with the grapes at his side?

In Randy's words, they "grow wine", not grapes. He feels that wine is actually developed on the vine, with the help of cool foggy mornings, hot sunny afternoons, conditions of the soil “terroir”. With "on-time" picking, equating to lower sugars, higher natural acidity and ultimately lower alcohol this adds to the making of perfectly balanced, elegant wine.

The tasting room is friendly, casual and very approachable! There is a garden patio that feels like you are in your own backyard. When the setting is right, and the stars are aligned, they'll fire up the pizza oven and crank out some mean Mediterranean flatbread pizzas.
