Black Cat Vineyards - Passion for Perfection!

Visiting Black Cat Vineyard is a very intimate wine tasting experience........one you are unlikely to have while traveling on Hwy 29.

Black Cat Vineyard is located in an area known as Coombsville, the Eastern Hills of Napa....also known amongst locals as "the Heart of Family Wineries." In this area resides at least 10 hidden gems which are mostly known by locals & collectors, but are very much open to the public.

These are small private family wineries that meet with you one on one (generally by appointment) and Traci Reichow of Black Cat Vineyards, is one of them. Traci loves talking about her wine and she should, after all, she planted the grapes, manages the vineyard, hand picks at harvest, processes her own fruit, and bottles her own wine.....she is as enthusiastic about the wine she makes as anybody could be.....she admits that she has a "passion for perfection" and her rapt attention to detail absolutely shows in her wine.

Traci has a special interest in Rhone Varietals....specifically Syrah, and produces handcrafted, artisan wines in small quantities. She makes about 200 cases each of three exceptional wines (Syrah Napa Valley; Napa Valley Cabernet; and Family Cuvee Napa Valley) and she sells out very quickly!

Traci loves not only talking about her own passion, but also about yours'! One of her favorite aspects of meeting with people one-on-one is hearing their stories too. You can swap stories either at her Home Estate (for cat lovers) or her small production facility overlooking the Napa Valley below.....both are charming.

This is a very personable experience and one you'll want to return to again & again......in fact, many people call Traci, "their new best friend."
