Gary Farrell Vineyards, located in the heart of the Russian River Valley, is a contemporary experience. From the moment you drive past the custom iron gates emulating the vineyard landscape, to the modern building which houses the hill top tasting room overlooking the valleys below, to the state-of-the-art crushing and fermentation facility, to the elegant wines in the glass - you feel as though you reside in this perfect moment-in-time, where harmony and clarity are finally available.

Gary Farrell was a Pioneer in the making of Pinot Noir and helped to popularize this now favorite grape. Pinot Noir represents over 50% of the production at Gary Farrell Vineyards where the cool breezes and fog from the Pacific Ocean allow for a slow, even ripening of the fruit while preserving the natural acidity. Rich, dark fruit with earthy overtones is a great way to describe these wines. Other wines well known to the Gary Ferrall family include Russian River Chardonnay and Dry Creek Valley Zinfandels.
