Locals Tasting Room - Why go anywhere else?
Locals tasting room in the heart of downtown Geyserville is an independent collective that pours wines from 10 award-winning wineries. On any given day, they have open & ready to pour for you over 62 different wines! With a selection like that, you're sure to find one, if not several wines, that become your new favorites.One unique thing about Locals is that because they carry so many wines, they're able to do tastings by 'flights,' which means they pour a variety of the same varietals, allowing you to taste say three Zinfindels, side by side. And of course, they throw in a little nosh here & there to make the flavors on the palate all the more interesting.The staff at Locals is some of the friendliest we've met - straight forward, non-pretentious, informative, funny & hospitable.....in fact if you're looking for a 'new best friend,' that just might be the place to start.Locals offers free tastings and is open 7 days a week from 11AM-6PM,
so even after the other wineries close you can still shimmy on up to the bar at Locals for a great tasting. They'll tell you some stories, sell you some wine, and make some suggestions as to where you can enjoy a great dinner in town.All's well that ends well, and I can't think of a better place to end your day in the wine country than at Locals! (or begin your day for that matter but be warned, you just might not go anywhere else.)
